Children's ministry is so important in what we do here at Christ the King. We offer children the opportunity to learn how to share love unconditionally and the tools to help them grow in their faith for a lifetime.

Ewalu Bible Camp & Retreat Center

Bible camp has the ability to reach a child unlike any other ministry setting. It is different from any other program at a church. The outdoor setting is so beneficial in a child's faith development.

Youth have the chance to get to know others in a Christ-filled place that pushes them to sleep outside the comfort of their own home, learn from different ministry leaders, be asked to speak about their faith, and be asked to grow as Christians in an extremely intentional community.

"Simply put: youth will grow in faith, experience Christian community, enjoy outdoor adventures and make new friends! Campers will have the opportunity to live and play in the great outdoors with our energetic, well-trained, and super-fun summer staff.

At EWALU, youth learn unforgettable songs, practice leadership skills, develop self-confidence, and grow in empathy for others - as consistently evidenced by evaluations from campers and parents. Kids grow by meaningful activities and casual times in a supportive community. They will explore new places and new skills in a safe place, chat by the campfire, share stories, learn about God, and enjoy fantastic new adventures only possible at summer camp." -From the EWALU website.
